Studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich. Later doctorate at the University of Innsbruck with highest honors. Since 2005 development engineer at Getzner Werkstoffe GmbH in Bürs in the Research & Development department. From 2007 to 2011, parallel employment as research assistant at the Institute for Infrastructure at the University of Innsbruck. Focus on simulation, laboratory testing and in-situ measurements. 2014 Nomination for the Austrian National Award for Innovation, assumption of responsibility as head of the System Development department. Since 2018 Head of Research & Development Railway Division.
