Materials in the building base isolation
Our materials have all the properties required for the effective elastic shielding of buildings. With a precisely defined degree of elasticity that can retain its dynamic properties for decades, they are maintenance-free and have been tried and tested over the long term.
Sylomer® is a leading material for vibration insulation. It reduces vibrations, noise and maintenance costs in building bearings and increases comfort in rooms subject to vibrations.
Sylodyn® is used for vibration protection in buildings, impact sound insulation and the mounting of machinery. The closed-cell elastomer does not absorb water and offers better dynamic properties than Sylomer®. The material properties can be customised to meet specific requirements.
