Improving room acoustics by decoupling a timber ceiling, Munich
The vibration-prone timber ceiling of an education centre was elastically decoupled to ensure optimum room acoustics. A combined system of elastically bound chippings and the PU-based impact sound insulation AFM 35 was used over an area of almost 4,000 m² to form a precisely coordinated two-component solution for effective impact noise protection.
