Getzner offers effective products and solutions for mounting ceilings and wall linings. Elastic ceiling hangers reduce the sound transmission from ceilings. Along with the Sylomer® products, Isotop elements (particular combinations of steel springs and Sylomer® bearings) are also used for more effective sound reduction.
Sound decoupling of wall linings works in a similar way: in order to reduce sound transmission into or out of adjacent rooms, wall linings are frequently used in the drywall. The sound radiation is also significantly reduced here due to an elastic attachment.
The combination of suspended ceilings, wall linings and floating floor structures creates what is known as box-in-box construction. For areas with particularly stringent acoustic requirements. The acoustic products plus Sylomer® and Isotop® elements prevent sound bridges at the attachment points. This means that the transmission of airborne and impact noise can be reduced to a minimum – even if a sound control measure is not technically feasible in the adjacent rooms.
