Getzner receives Silver Medal in EcoVadis sustainability rating

Buers (AT). Getzner Werkstoffe has earned Silver status in a sustainability assessment carried out by EcoVadis, an internationally recognized sustainability ratings provider. The rating underlines the firm commitment Getzner is making to sustainability in every area of the company, and is available for customers to access on the assessment platform.

Getzner was awarded the silver medal of the EcoVadis sustainability rating in January 2026. The company was assessed for the second time and was able to improve from a bronze medal to a silver medal. With a total score of 76 points, Getzner ranks among the top eight percent of companies evaluated by EcoVadis and thus among the best performers in its industry segment.

The rating was improved by twelve points compared to the previous submission. This is the result of submitting additional content, such as the materiality analysis that was prepared in 2025.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings. Since its founding in 2007, it has assessed over 125,000 companies and established a global network. By providing sustainability ratings, EcoVadis aims to enable companies to reduce risks relating to sustainability, drive improvements and accelerate the positive impacts of sustainability activities on the environment and society. The EcoVadis rating indicates the quality of a company’s sustainability management system at the time the assessment is carried out.
