We Care 2022
Getzner Werkstoffe supports charitable organisations
Times are full of big and small challenges for all of us.
Employees, customers and partners face these challenges every day and contribute to Getzner's success through their great commitment. We are proud and grateful for what we have achieved together in the past year and would like to continue to provide support where help is urgently needed.
Every Getzner Christmas greeting this year has a donation equivalent - whether by e-mail or personally written Christmas card. In total, 15,000 euros have been collected to support charitable organisations.

Support for children and adolescents
Getzner is committed to supporting the next generation. With our extensive range of apprenticeships, we offer young people a variety of training opportunities and thus ensure the skilled workers of tomorrow. Every year, children accompany their parents, relatives or acquaintances to the company on the "Ich-geh-mit" future day.
Parents also receive special offers at Getzner that help them to combine work and family life. And last but not least, we support clubs, youth groups in the region with donations for special services and ongoing operations.
To further expand our commitment to the next generation, we donate 7,500 euros to the Vorarlberg Children's Village (Vorarlberger Kinderdorf).

Help for refugees
Getzner supports when people are in need: for colleagues within the company or with fundraising campaigns for emergencies at home and abroad.
As a company with 500 employees, we know many individual stories and backgrounds. Getzner places great emphasis on sharing and being there for each other. Colleagues from around 50 nations work together successfully at Getzner.
To support help in emergencies, we donate 7,500 euros to the Austrian Red Cross Vorarlberg.

Sustainability and environment
At Getzner, responsibility for the shared environment has the same priority as the quality and safety of products and services.
The Getzner Group has been using hydropower to run its own production since the 19th century. Today, the company's own hydroelectric power plant supplies enough electricity to cover the power consumption of all Getzner companies. Heat recovery systems, photovoltaic systems and emission-free production processes provide a sustainable contribution to environmental and climate protection.
In the coming year, we will further expand our environmental commitment by becoming a member of the association "TUN. Green Deal" association.
