Encased rails

Getzner's goal in designing the "encased rail" system was to achieve vibration isolation of the rail from the foundation and the surroundings in light rail applications.

This system consists of two chambered filler components and rail mount pad with a predefined, homogenous elasticity.
The special construction of the chambered filler component ensures exceptional binding to the surrounding concrete. These three easy-to-handle components are affixed snugly to the rail profile. The stiffness of the components can be adjusted to meet the specific needs of the track operator.
