350-400 delegates representing all of the nations in the world where long and heavy trains are operated. Attendees will bring together railway operations managers with engineering practitioners and researchers representing the state of the art in bulk haul railroading. An associated workshop on the IHHA treatise on Infrastructure Maintenance and Construction will bring in 60 high potential young engineering and maintenance of way people from CN, CP and UP, among other railways. In addition, invited plenary session presentations will ensure that a number of senior railway executives from Canada, USA, China and Australia will be on site.
