Committed to protecting our environment

Environmental protection is a top priority at Getzner. Responsibility for the habitat we all share is equally as important as the quality and safety of the products and services we deliver. Getzner's plant at Bürs, is certified in accordance with the environmental management systems EMAS and ISO 14001. The environmental declaration documents the company's commitment to protecting the environment.

No noise, smells or dust emissions are generated during the manufacturing of Getzner products. The level of polyurethane scrap and recyclable waste materials is constantly being reduced. Residual polyurethane scrap is fed back into our internal recycling process and eventually reused in production.

Getzner strives to maintain contact with its neighbors, business partners and other stakeholders in a pro-active, cooperative manner. We place great emphasis on transparency and openness in these relations. If you have any questions or suggestions related to Getzner's environmental protection activities, please feel free to contact our Environmental Protection Officer.

Sustainability is more than just an empty word

Nowadays companies bear a great deal of socio-political responsibility. Since the dawn of industrialization, humankind's actions have had an increasingly strong influence on various eco-systems. In order to play our part in maintaining a healthy environment, Getzner Werkstoffe voluntarily committed itself to protecting the environment as a corporate goal in 2000.

The environmental management systems EMAS and ISO 14001 are tools that are used to continuously improve the environmental protection measures at Getzner. Compliance with the high standards in these environmental certifications is tested at regular intervals by independent institutions.

Along with quality and safety, protecting the environment is an absolute top priority. In our Environmental Statement, you can learn more about the certified environmental management system used at Getzner Werkstoffe.
